Christmas gift cards: The total number of physical gift cards sold by M&S over Christmas is as high as the Empire State Building 692 times.
A gift card might not be the most exciting purchase you can make, but it’s certainly a smart one. Christmas trees: Over 54,000 were sold this year, accumulating a height of 67 kilometers, equivalent from London to Brighton. Although many are now sold out, some options are currently 30% off.

Tree decorations: In the week following Dawn French’s M&S Christmas food advert, M&S sold a fairy decoration (representing Dawn) every minute and a half. While the sold-out decoration won’t be coming back into stock, M&S currently has 30% off tons of other baubles.

The home goods item that: The M&S Kirsten Lamp has sold out an incredible five times since its launch in February 2023 and there’s a reason this lamp has sold out so many times.
Available in three stunning colours: Green, Blue and Dark Red, it features a fringed shade and a checkered base for a kitsch pop. The shade itself is designed with colorful piping, and the base is finished with gold-colored hardwear and a flat bottom. Shoppers have even described it as looking “much more expensive than it is” and is the “perfect addition” to their bedside table.

Candle lit Town House: M&S sold 110,000 units of magical light candles, that’s one per minute during the peak sales period. Although the popular townhouse design has already sold out, a variety of designs are still available for £10.

Disney Frozen™ dress: This Elsa inspired dress was admired in sequins and designed with a short sleeve bodice, ruffle trimmed neckline sold 6,000 units. M&S staff say they have sold enough units to feed the magical population of the kingdom of Arendelle 12 times over.

Apothecary Warmth Fragrances: This affordable M&S fragrance went viral on TikTok for smelling like a popular designer perfume, racking up millions of views and selling around 70,000 units sold. Shoppers have said they love the “woody smell” of this perfume and that when worn, it “lasts all day”.
