1. Damon visits Harvey
Damon is thrilled after spending the night with Sarah, who suggests he get to know her family better over drinks at the Bistro. He agrees, but reveals that he must visit Harvey in prison first.
In the prison visiting room, the brothers confront Harvey’s pressure on Damon to do a criminal job. Harvey takes things a step further by threatening Sarah, which angers Damon. While visiting a client across the room, Dee Dee watches the drama unfold.
2. Adam and Sarah meet at the Bistro
Gail, Audrey and Nick express their disapproval of Sarah and Damon’s relationship when the couple meet for drinks at the Bistro. The simmering tension is interrupted when Adam arrives, revealing that he knows about Damon’s visit to Harvey.
Adam expresses that he doesn’t want Damon anywhere near Harry, but when he fights with Sarah, he is quickly reminded that Harry is not his son.
Upset in the series, Adam makes his own appointment to visit Harvey – it’s clear he’s ready to deal with the devil.
3. Adam receives a sinister threat
Adam goes on to meet Harvey in prison. He claims to have looked at Harvey’s case files and believes the killer has a strong case for appeal.
Showing that he’s as dangerous as ever, Harvey warns Adam that the hit man dealing with Damon will target him as well if he lets the situation down.
4. Adam crosses another line
Damon tries to find better terms with Adam again, unaware of his constant scheming.
Adam meets a friend of Harvey’s. He hands over a wad of silver and instructs the thug to scare Damon. However, Adam’s discomfort with the situation later becomes apparent as he suffers a panic attack.
5. Gemma raises concerns about Joseph’s health
Joseph complains that he has a high temperature. Although Gemma is sympathetic, Chesney dismisses his son and insists that everything is fine.
Gemma is still upset by the situation, but Paul advises against rocking the boat given her current situation with social services.
Gemma refuses to let this go, and Gemma shares her concerns with Dr Gaddas when she sees her in the cafe. Chesney overhears and is furious with Gemma, who had previously been warned about wasting time when she took Joseph to hospital twice last year.
6. Linda causes trouble between Gemma and Chesney
Linda returns to Weatherfield and gives Chesney a business card for a family solicitor, believing it to be necessary after the recent tension between him and Gemma. Chesney refuses to discuss it.
Gemma finds the card and accuses Chesney of planning to take the children from her. Chesney insists that this is not the case and Linda admits that she was responsible, as she fears that Gemma could be a danger to the children.
7. Joseph fell
Chesney is forced to take Joe home from school early when he gets a call that the youngster is sick. Joseph’s health problems arise at home when he collapses on the couch and seems to be on the verge of losing consciousness.
Joseph is taken to the hospital, where he is diagnosed with Lyme disease. It turns out he contracted it while on a camping trip two months ago, which explains his recent mysterious symptoms.
8. Chesney and Gemma’s family faces an uncertain future
Joseph wakes up in hospital and his relatives are convinced that he should make a full recovery. The good news continues when social services inform Gemma that she is clear about the alleged poisoning incident and can move back home.
Chesney is surprised when Joseph insists that he wants to live with Gemma rather than him, as she was the only one who believed he was ill.
9. Liam runs the school
Liam pretends to be going to school, but as soon as Maria and Gary are no longer looking, he sneaks back to the flat.
Liam covers his tracks by logging onto the school website and reporting himself absent due to illness. His plan succeeds when the school calls Maria, informing her that Liam has not been seen in lessons for a week.
10. Mason points at Liam again
Maria forces Liam to attend school, but the teenager’s anxiety rises when Mason targets him again.
Mason humiliates Liam by stealing his phone and forces him to beg for it back. The other kids laugh when Mason refuses to give it back – also witnessed by Dylan, who does nothing to protect his former friend.
Later, Mason grabbed Liam and pinned him against a wall. Liam is trying to escape, he sets off the school’s fire alarm.
11. Asha confesses
Aadi continues to recover in hospital after a carbon monoxide scare at her apartment. Dev insists that Aadi should not return to the flat and invites him to move back home.
Aadi feels guilty when Asha reveals that she has broken up with Nina, who moved out after the recent kiss drama.
Asha helps Aadi pack her apartment, but Aadi is confused when he finds her bracelet on the floor. Asha has to admit that she visited the apartment when he was unconscious. She went out and didn’t realize the danger.
Meanwhile, Roy invites Nina to move back into her old bedroom in the cafe apartment.
12. Cassie explains her actions
Cassie updates Evelyn when she revealed that she donated the money she stole from Terry to a dog charity. She also says she only attacked him because he was about to hurt the dogs.
Tyrone later reveals that Fiz has invited him to join her when she attends a course in Italy. Tyrone considers it, but is reluctant to leave Hope and Ruby with an irresponsible Cassie for two weeks.
13. Cassie messes up again
Tyrone goes ahead with the trip, but her concerns about Cassie’s behavior come to light when she lets Ruby have nail extensions and feeds her crisps for breakfast.
The school raises the alarm for Evelyn about Cassie’s antics. Evelyn confronts Cassie and accuses her of being a hindrance in taking care of the girls.
14. The mystery of Lauren’s boyfriend continues
Max invites Lauren to tea, but she seems uncomfortable when Sabrina suggests that she invite her mystery boyfriend too.
Sabrina tells Max that she suspects Lauren is lying about having a boyfriend. Max questions Lauren about this, causing her to leave the cafe in tears.
15. Max’s suspicions grow
Lauren joins Max and Sabrina for lunch at the Bistro and announces that she has dumped her boyfriend.
Later, Max watches with interest as Lauren speaks to Daniel on the street. Daniel puts a comforting hand on Lauren’s shoulder, but will Max misinterpret this?
16. Bernie returns
Bernie is released from prison after spending a short spell behind bars.
She is delighted to find her family at The Rovers, where they have organized a wonderful ‘welcome home’ party for her.
