David Moyes looking for Sevilla again
16:06 , Mark Mayo
David Moyes hopes to rally his West Ham players to make history again tonight.
The Hammers beat Sevilla in similar circumstances in the 2021-22 season as Soucek leveled the aggregate score in the first half before Andriy Yarmolenko struck the winner in stoppage time.
“It’s going to be tough, but we’ve done it before, and we have to do it one way or another,” he said.
“We only focus on how we win, and the performance we need to put in to do that.
“The biggest memory of a similar situation was against Sevilla, who won the competition many times. We overcame that challenge, but Freiburg are a good team.
“This one is important because we have to win to go through, and we will do our best to do that.”
