The 62-year-old is expected to perform a daring stunt during the event as France brings the Games to the United States, ahead of the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
TMZ has reported that Cruise, the star of iconic films including Top Gun, Rain Man and Jerry Maguireabseil down from the Stade de France stand during the ceremony, carrying the Olympic flag. Age of wonder
With his daredevil spirit still intact, those watching the closing ceremony of the Olympics may be surprised to learn that Cruise is actually 62 years old.
Although he obviously looks different than when he got his big break Business Risk over 40 years on, the actor looks youthful and still pulls off things that people less than half his age would be too scared to do.
He previously shared the secrets of his youth, explaining that he eats 1,200 calories a day with a diet that consists mostly of grilled foods. He also exercises regularly and enjoys jogging, kayaking and mountain biking.
