It’s that time of year again as Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly head Down Under to film I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here with a whole new cast of celebrities. Many will be breathing a sigh of relief that TV bosses appear to be in the clear not to include any controversial political figures for the 2024 series after even comedy hosts Ant and Dec asked for no politicians.
We’re counting down until I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here returns to our small screens on November 17 but the star-studded lineup has already reported The Sun.
So which famous faces can you expect to see on our screens?

Danny Jones
Earlier on Friday, it was reported that TV bosses have found a replacement after one of their biggest stars dropped out.
It has been claimed that McFly’s Danny Jones has been brought in to replace Tommy Fury after the star received a better offer. The musician has a good chance in the jungle after his colleague Dougie Poynter was named King of the Jungle back in 2011.
Rooney’s goal
But the signing everyone is talking about is Coleen Rooney. She is allegedly paid the biggest fee in the show’s history – said to have beaten even Nigel Farage’s £1.5 million last year – but for that kind of money one would expect a colleague to provide serious value.
Jungle bosses will be hoping WAG will open up about her Wagatha Christie court battle with former show star Rebekah Vardy, as well as some of the highlights from her long marriage to Wayne Rooney. If the rumors are true, Rooney would definitely have viewers tuning in for her fiery conversations.
Previously I’m A Celebrity 2022 contestant Scarlette Douglas told Yahoo: “They’re saying Coleen Rooney has been offered over £1.5m which is the highest ever, more than Nigel Farage. Everyone will be asking about the Wagatha Christie trial.
“Everyone will want to know all the ins and outs and gossip but I don’t think she will be allowed to talk about it, obviously there is a court case going on, so who knows? I think she might be pretty good at it.”
Maura Higgins
There was also a lot of buzz around Maura Higgins signing up for the jungle show this year. She quickly became a fan favorite on Love Island in 2019 for her straight-talking nature and sense of humour.
The TV personality is tackling her rumored romance with Pete Wicks, with the pair pictured kissing, although she insisted the pair are just good friends. Wicks starred on Strictly Come Dancing.
Rev Richard Coles
Reverend Richard Coles, who once took to the Strictly Come Dancing dance floor and tried his hand at baking up a storm in Celebrity Bake Off, is now hoping he’s adding the jungle show to his sparkling showbiz CV.
Coles had an exciting life. TV bosses are said to be keen on stories from his “wild days” as an 80s pop star to his time on Strictly Come Dancing and his life as a reverend.
Dean McCullough
A name that is certainly not well known but BBC star Dean McCullough could set his sights on the jungle if reports are true.
The Northern Irish radio presenter is best known for his role presenting on BBC Radio 1. I’m A Celebrity has been a huge success with DJs in the past, and bosses are likely to be expecting a very popular with viewers at home, especially Jordan North who achieved fame after being on the ITV programme.
Oti Mabuse
Meanwhile, former Strictly pro Oti Mabuse is no stranger to reality TV. She has had stints on shows such as Celebrity MasterChef, The Wheel with Michael McIntyre and Celebrity Catchphrase under her belt, as well as numerous judging spots.
It has now been revealed that she could be heading Down Under to add I’m A Celebrity to her list. Although nothing is confirmed, the dancer might have a gap in his schedule for the jungle show. I’m A Celeb usually starts in November and is done by Christmas, while Dancing On Ice – on which Mabuse is a judge – doesn’t start until January.
Furthermore, even if Mabuse made it all the way to the final, she would likely be home in time for her daughter’s first birthday. The star and her husband Marius Lepure welcomed their first child in 2023 and although they did not confirm her exact birthday, they announced that she had arrived on Christmas Day.
Tulisa Contostavlos
N-Dubz singer Tulisa is a celebrity who has turned down the show several times before – but could this be her year at last?
She recently relaunched her singing career with N-Dubz after being fairly quiet since her X Factor judging days and a stint in the jungle could be the perfect profile boost.
Alan Halsall
Alan Halsall is thought to be in the mix for the 2024 final after being ruled out for the last series.
The Coronation Street actor was thought to be a shoe-in for a hammock in 2023 but in the run-up to the show he posted a message on Instagram telling fans he had undergone ACL reconstruction surgery, pouring cold water on all the rumors .
The star, best known for playing Tyrone Dobbs on the cobbles, said at the time that he had “a long 9-12 months of recovery ahead”. He is about 10 months into that period now and there are rumors that he will be joining the upcoming series.
YouTuber GK Barry
GK Barry was rumored to star on the 2024 series of Strictly Come Dancing but the reason she is not on the dance floor may be because she was already signed up to star on the jungle show.
The TikTok and YouTube star, whose real name is Grace Keeling, rose to fame on TikTok during the Covid pandemic in 2020 and launched her own podcast Saving Grace on YouTube in 2022. TV bosses are likely hoping to appeal to Gen Z by signing the YouTuber.
Jane Moore
As for Loose Women’s Jane Moore, the star is reportedly ready to take on her next challenge. In 2022, she revealed that she had split from her husband Gary Farrow after 20 years of marriage. The Loose Women star said at the time that they were still good friends.
Melvin Odom
DJ and presenter Melvin Odoom was stuck for the 2021 jungle series so it would be almost three years in the making to sign. He has previously admitted that he is a big fan of the show but admitted that he would be “scared” of being in the jungle himself.
Barry McGuigan
Former boxer Barry McGuigan is the latest name on the leaked I’m A Celebrity list. At the age of 63, he would be the oldest star to appear in the 2024 series. The sports star is believed to have been drafted in after Ally McCoist was axed from the show.
