Sharon Stone closed Ed Balls’ line of questioning on Good Morning Britain with a short answer, saying: “I want to resume with a new question somewhere else.”
Speaking on the Louis Theroux podcast, Stone recently alleged that the film’s producer Robert Evans told her to have sex with her co-star Billy Baldwin to improve his performance in the 1993 film Sliver. Billy Baldwin fired back with a tweet saying, “I’m not sure why Sharon Stone keeps talking about me all these years later? Is she still mad at me or is she still hurt after all these years because I stopped progress?”
Now Balls brought it up during his interview on Good Morning Britain but Stone refused to answer him. Instead, she told him: “I want to resume with a new question somewhere else.” Her response received applause from the audience watching at home.
What, how and why?
Ed Balls said: “Sharon has been campaigning to improve mental health and support people with the World Health Organisation. It has changed massively because of the MeToo movement. The conviction of Harvey Weinstein. Another place, hopefully, the film industry in Los Angeles compared to when you were there.”
He then asked: “When you look back at those early points in your career, what Hollywood producer Robert Evans advised you to do was to have sex with your co-director William Baldwin in the ’93 film Sliver to improve his performance. How do you feel today about what the producers told you?”
She replied: “First of all, you’re setting me up with the ‘have you met your wife yet’ comment, so first of all I’m not going to validate your statement as if it were true.’ they are not going to do that at first.
“So I want to resume with a new question somewhere else.”

Stone and Baldwin series
Stone first made the claims in her 2021 memoir The Beauty of Living Twice. In March of this year, Stone chose to name the producer who she sensationally claimed told her to have sex with her co-star Billy Baldwin.
Stone told Theroux: “He called me to his office. The couches were very low ’70s, ’80s, so I’m basically sitting on the floor, when I should be laying down. And he’s running around his office in sunglasses explaining to me that he slept with Ava Gardner and I should sleep with Billy Baldwin, because if I slept with Billy Baldwin, Billy Baldwin’s performance would improve, and we needed Billy. to get better at film because that was the problem.”

“She said to her gal pal Janice Dickinson the day after I screen tested and ran into them on our MGM Grand flight back to New York… ‘I’m going to make him fall so hard for me, he’s going to head spinning’ ???”
He added: “I’m so dirty it would make her head spin but I’ve kept it quiet. The story of my meeting with Bob Evans begging him to let me choreograph the final sex scene in the photo below. he wouldn’t have to kiss Sharon is a complete legend.
“I wonder if I should write a book and tell lots of exciting, kinky and unprofessional stories about Sharon? That could be fun.”
