What is Jones Road?
After stepping away from the beauty brand she founded in the ’90s back in 2016, Bobbi Brown launched Jones Road.
The multi-purpose product offering promises to deliver “pure, strategic, high-grade formulations that work on all skin types and tones – and are as simple to use as they are to master, easy to use and effective”. .
Everything about the brand, from the simple yet stylish packaging to its clean, fresh and modern ethos.
In terms of its clean credentials, the brand says it follows guidelines that are even stricter than those of the EU, eliminating many unwanted ingredients, including phthalates and sulfates.
Talking about the brand on her website, Bobbi says: “After I left Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, one of those questions was: ‘Why can’t I find makeup products that are clean and high performance – that don’t sacrifice one for him. the other?’
She continues: “What I wanted was the makeup equivalent of the Swiss Army Knife: easy, cool, multi-purpose products that could be used to nail any look, whether it’s makeup without makeup or something with more drama.”

After officially landing in the UK in July 2021, Jones Road was only available to shop on the brand’s website, but the must-have makeup brand is now available at Liberty London, in store and online.

“The Oil Free Moisturizer is my summer staple,” says Bobbi Brown of the new product. “Not only is it lightweight, making it perfect on dry skin in hot and humid climates, but it also works really well on oily skin all year round. Layer your favorite SPF over the moisturizer with for a light finish.”
Gel bronzer
The latest essential in the Jones Road collection is perfect for a natural, sun-kissed look this summer. The Gel Bronzer – which dropped earlier this month on June 15th – is a light skin tone, light and barely noticeable. It comes in three shades (Light is a “golden bronze”, Medium is a “reddish bronze” and Dark is a “chocolate bronze”) so you can find your perfect match. Apply directly to cheeks, nose, forehead and neck (basically, everywhere the sun would naturally hit).
Chatting about the product, Bobbi Brown explains how flexible it is: “You can use Gel Bronzer on bare skin, mixed with your moisturizer, or over your What’s the Foundation. stay right on top.”

The bronzer
The latest addition to the Jones Road team, The Bronzer (£32), has been two years in the making and does not disappoint. A velvety powder to add warmth to the skin, it is available in seven shades and has been developed to work across a range of skin tones. Bobbi says: “A lot of times bronzers can be too dry, too orange, and in a way too shimmery, which makes them hard to blend. This is not like most bronzers . Our Bronzer adds warmth to the skin, and can be used as an all-over. skin tint, or to correct color if your skin looks sallow. It’s minimal, quick, and easy to use. It really is reinventing a staple product everyone should have in their makeup bag.” The new Bronzer Brush (£40) is a must-have companion for flawless application.
What is the Foundation (WTF)
Jones Road’s must-have product, What The Foundation (WTF) £42, is a moisturizing balm with a foundation packed with skin-nourishing ingredients including Jojoba Oil and Sodium Hyaluronate. The WTF had a viral moment on TikTok and has since received rave reviews from beauty editors and enthusiasts alike. Available in 12 shades, Bobbi’s foundation aims to blend seamlessly to achieve the look of ‘your skin but better’.
The Lip Tint
Another recent addition to our Jones Road collection is the brand’s £26 Lip Tints. Called “Bobbi’s take on traditional lipstick”, the moisturizing lip product goes on effortlessly and is perfect for on-the-go. It’s available in nine shades, and it’s a buildable tint so it’s great whether you’re looking for a pop of color or a bold, dramatic lip.
Shimmer Face Oil
Road Jones Shimmer Face Oil, £34, launched just in time for summer 2022. Dubbed “subtle glow in a bottle”, the light, silky oil promises to awaken the complexion and brighten the skin. It’s a makeup-care skin hybrid blended with nine oils to nourish and hydrate, and is available in four muted shades.
“It’s amazing on its own and great to mix with foundation,” explained Bobbi Brown. “I use one pump and like to put it everywhere, but if you haven’t used it before try using half a pump first. It doesn’t sit on the skin or sink into fine lines.”
Miracle Balm
Another hero product is the £36 Miracle Balm, a light-reflecting product that can be used to add a wash of color anywhere you want a tint or glow, including on the cheeks, lips and the eyebrows.
Plus, Jones Road recently added a new shade to the collection – and it’s a makeup bag essential for a boost right now. Flushed, there is a hot pink that immediately brightens the complexion. Speaking about the new launch, Bobbi said: “Blusher injects vibrancy into the skin, this tint combined with the moisturizing texture of Miracle Balm equals Flushed.
“Whenever I don’t feel myself vibrant, it’s flushed fakes – I pop a bit of color high on the cheeks, across the nose or brushed over the forehead. When people see flushed they might think it looks a bit intense , though. it’s sheer with little flecks of gold. Flushed does everything, it’s Blush, it’s Tint – there’s no rulebook.”
The Face Pencil
The Face Pencil, £24 – also known as “the everything stick” is a must try. It promises to cover redness and lighten dark spots, fine lines and dark circles, while delivering a natural finish described as “almost undetectable”.
The Beech Cream
We’re also hoping for the reasonably priced Miracle Cream, £38, which promises not only to leave skin plumped and rejuvenated, but contains acne-fighting Sunflower Seed Oil, hydrating Vitamin A and anti -inflammatory, and nutritious Shea butter. .
