But this year, a surprising number on display at CES 2024 are already available for purchase.

Another laptop made for gamers is Omen Transcend 14 HP, but this one is relatively light and portable. HP is even bringing the world’s lightest gaming laptop at just 3.5 pounds. It still has fairly solid specs for the price, with a 14th-gen Intel Core Ultra 7 or Ultra 9 processor, up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM, 2TB of storage and an NVIDIA RTX 4070 GPU.

How about a huge, ultra-crisp monitor to go with your new laptop? Dell has that for you, and it’s a stunner. It is the first 40-inch 5K monitor “certified for five-star eye comfort” thanks to a special refresh rate that produces smoother scenes and reduces eye strain. It also has an ambient light sensor that will automatically adjust screen brightness and color temperature depending on the environment.

If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, consider the LG MyView 32-inch Smart Monitor. It doubles as a Smart TV, so it can stream Netflix and other services. The screen offers a 4K IPS panel, 16:9 widescreen ratio and HDR10 support. A monitor and TV in one, it would make a great addition to a dorm room or teenage bedroom.
