Jeffrey Epstein’s victim claimed to have taken sex tapes of the Duke of York, former US president Bill Clinton and billionaire businessman Sir Richard Branson, court documents have revealed.
Sarah Ransome, who gave a victim impact statement before the sentencing of British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell for sex trafficking, appeared to have written communications claiming the pedophile financier had filmed the three.
On behalf of Mr Branson, a Virgin Group spokesman said: “In a New Yorker report published in 2019, Ransome admitted she ‘made up’ the tapes.
“We can confirm that Sarah Ransome’s claims are baseless and baseless.”
A firm representing Epstein’s lawyer, Alan Dershowitz, flagged the excerpts to indicate Ms Ransome’s “manifest lack of credibility”.
Andrew withdrew from public life after concerns about his friendship with Epstein, and paid millions to settle a civil sexual assault case with Virginia Giuffre, a woman he claimed he had never met.
He was thrown out of the working monarchy and no longer uses his HRH style after Mr Giuffre, who was trafficked by Epstein, accused him of sexually assaulting her when she was 17 .
The duke vehemently denies any wrongdoing.
A US judge ordered hundreds of documents unsealed as part of Ms Giuffre’s already settled civil claim against Maxwell, filed in 2015.
Images were also released as part of the latest tranche of documents, including a resurfaced photograph of former Labor minister Lord Mandelson with Epstein on his private island, Little St James.
Among the other pictures, taken on the island in 2006, was one of Maxwell with the fearsome French scout Jean Luc-Brunel and various girls posing for photographs.
Former US president Donald Trump was also accused in the email excerpts from Mr Ransome, and according to Epstein’s victim, he “liked to flick and suck” her friend’s nipples “until they were raw”.
Ms Ransome wrote: “They looked really painful as they were red and swollen and I remember being overcome when I looked at them.
“I also know that she had sex with Trump at the Jeffery Mansion in NY on a regular basis.”
Addressing the claims about Andrew and Mr Branson in the document released as part of another tranche published on Monday, Ms Ransome wrote: “When my friend Clinton had an affair with Prince Andrew and Richard Branson , sex tapes were filmed on each individual. event with Jeffrey.
“Thank God she managed to get hold of some footage of the filmed sex tapes, which clearly identify the faces of Clinton, Prince Andrew and Branson who had sexual relations with her.
“It’s a shame Epstein didn’t appear in any of the footage but he was so clever!
“When my friend had the courage to speak out and went to the police in 2008 to report what happened, nothing was done and she was completely humiliated by the police department where she reported what happened with Epstein, Clinton, Branson. and Prince Andrew.”
In the letter from Emery Celli Brinckerhoff & Abady LLP to the court, the firm said the allegations against Mr. Dershowitz were categorically false.
The firm said: “Her (Miss Ransome’s) evidence was made out of whole cloth. Ms. Ransome’s testimony also includes several other major claims regarding the sexual orientation of Donald Trump, Bill Clinton and other prominent people.
“The emails are a necessary response to the misstatement of Ms Ransome’s testimony as they demonstrate a clear lack of credibility on her part.”
The email excerpts from Ms Ransome also saw her targeting Hilary Clinton, with one saying: “I’ll make sure that scumbag Hillary or that pedophile Trump don’t get elected.
“I will also make sure that everyone on the planet sees God’s devil [sic] that footage and photographs [sic] and they will release to Wiki
Ms Ransome also appeared to say she had “contacted the Russians for help” after he claimed his emails had been hacked.
Epstein was found dead in his cell at a federal prison in Manhattan, New York, in August 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. The death was ruled a suicide.
Maxwell has been in prison since July 2020 despite attempts by her defense lawyer to get her released on bail.
She was sentenced to 20 years in prison in federal court in the Southern District of New York in June 2022.
The socialite revealed she was keen to appeal shortly after her conviction, with her lawyers claiming victims had “faded, distorted and induced memories”.
Her appeal is to be heard in November next year.
